$9.00 – $10.00 an hour + Uncapped Commission, Full-Time

Job Summary: Sell the organization’s products/services to new or established customers typically via walk-in business and process payments for products or service. Assist customer by answering questions, presenting products and services and checking for stock and availability.

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Sell products and services to new or established customers which are typically walk-in opportunities
  • Attend special training of products/services to understand the product features, trends or styles of the products/services
  • Assist customers by answering questions, presenting products and services and checking for stock availability
  • Process payments for products or service
  • May maintain customer preference records
  • Ability to multi-task and demonstrate critical thinking skills

Qualifications:

  • Customer facing/ Retail Sales experience: 1 year (Preferred)
  • Bilingual: Spanish & English (Required)

Working Conditions

  • Able to stoop, kneel, bend at the waist and reach on a daily basis
  • Able to lift and move up to 20 lbs. pounds occasionally
  • Able to stand for extended periods of time
  • Hours 40 hours per week
  • Ability to work varied hours/days
  • Ability to freely access all areas of the store, including selling floor, stock area, and register area
  • Ability to process information and merchandise through computer systems and POS register system

About the Job: As a Store Manager, you will directly manage and oversee the sales and operational activities of assigned stores. You will be responsible for ensuring that your stores meet their sales goals & operational standards. You will develop a team of Sales Associates & Leads in each store to drive retail sales and operational excellence. You will also be responsible for directly executing operational & sales tasks. The ideal candidate has strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and models sales & operational excellence.

Responsibilities:

General

  • Analyze and measure business trends; develop and implement plans to maximize sales and meet or exceed goals and objectives
  • Ensure proper merchandise stock levels and store presentations.
  • Establish local-level marketing plans, tactics, & promotions to drive store traffic. Also partner with local community businesses and organizations in cross-promotions and traffic-driving strategies
  • Execute on inventory & cash reconciliation processes Review store trends and recommend and initiate changes for maximizing goals and objectives
  • Conduct Store Audits and walk-throughs to ensure all standards are being met
  • Manage store and employee schedules to optimize staffing levels
  • Partner with Upper Management & Back-office to ensure stores have adequate inventory levels at all times

Staff Management

  • Model, set the tone, and guide staff in exemplifying the company standards & services in a friendly, honest, direct, humble, and kind manner
  • Plan, direct, supervise, and coordinate work activities of sales associates
  • Develop staff and encourage professional and personal growth through on-boarding, training, coaching, and mentoring to achieve store-level goals
  • Evaluate employee performance and hold employees accountable for results; provide training, performance counseling and discipline in a timely manner and in accordance w/ company policy

Qualifications:

  • 1+ Years of Management experience is required
  • 3+ Years of Wireless Industry or Retail experience is required
  • High School Diploma/ GED and Higher
  • Bilingual – Speaks English and Spanish fluently is required
